Welcome to the New River Dance in Jacksonville, NC., founded in August 2009,
by Beatriz Thompson. New river dance in located at the USO, 9 Tallman St.
Jacksonville, NC. New river dance offer Ballet and Tap for children and adult.
Classes operates during the public school year, with summer camp program.

We are registering now for our school year 2009/10 and offer a fantastic range
of classes to suit all ages and abilities. We limit our class size 10 or less).
Biography
Beatriz dance training began at age 4 with Hungary- born Madame Corbett in
Hungary. She was one of the first ballerina of europe trained by Russian ballet.
Beatriz got to preform with the New York Ballet in the dominican republic for the
production of Cinderella. Some her performance include Cinderella, nutcracker, swan lake.
Beatriz teaching method is Russian Ballet. She has been teaching professionally
since 2002. Include teaching as an aerobic instructor and Ballet/Tap instructor.
In 1987 she move to Florida. She took dance class for a wild. after that attend
to college.
In 2000 to 2004 Beatriz was part of the New River Dance Team. Beatriz preform with
the group and solos.In 2001 to 2003 Beatriz was offered a position with MCCS as an
Aerobic Instructor. From 2004 to Tap classes at Star Dance Center and NC School of
performing Arts. Some her performance include Dance Celebration 2006, Secret Garden
who she got to preform her on solo.
In Aug 2007, Beatriz was offered a position with NC School of performing Arts in
Jacksonville, NC . She got choreographed and staged several dance.
Beatriz has over 25 years experience and has had a good positive impact with
students and parents.
